MOTION TO SUPPRESS EVIDENCE GRANTED AND CASE DISMISSED IN COUNTY COURT 8

August 13, 2012 By Charles Thompson

I and seven other criminal defense attorney’s argued a Motion to Suppress Evidence in Harris County Criminal Court at Law #8 last Friday. We represented 8 of 11 charged individuals with criminal trespass. We argued that a private security guard detained our clients while leading them to believe he was a police officer and exercising police powers. The Judge made the right decision and the Sate ended up dismissing the cases. The hearing went from 10:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. with no lunch break. I was honored to work with everyone involved in the case.
