HPD’s Breath-alcohol Testing Vans Faulted

There was another article in the Houston Chronicle by Anita Hassan (http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/More-BAT-van-cases-questioned-2160150.php) regarding HPD’s testing vans. It appears from the article that five of the six vans have been removed from service and are being reviewed by DPS. The article further indicated that two former HPD crime lab employees are testifing that you cannot rely on the Intoxilizer in a the HPD vans. I will post more news as it follows.
