REFUSING BLOOD ALCOHOL TEST CAN RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF PILOTS LICENSE

Just finished reading “The Enforcement Docket – Why Pilots Should Not Drink and Drive” by Alan Armstrong in the LPBA Journal Winter 10-11 on page 36-37 and learned that FAR section 61.16(a)(b) that the FFA can use a pilot’s refusal of a blood alcohol test in a driving while intoxicated case can result in his pillot’s license being suspended or revoked. Pilots need to be extra careful when driving!
