FAA SUSPENDS EXPUNCTION POLICY

May 16, 2011 By Charles Thompson

In the April 2011 issue of AOPA Pilot, John Yodice’s article entitled “FAA suspends its expunction policy” states that as of February 4, 2011, the Federal Aviation Administration is suspending its policy of erasing old, stale violation histories of pilots.

This is important because just because you can get an expunction now does not mean that the government can’t change the laws that allow an expunction. Just a thought.
